The biggest news to come out of yesterday's press release, all 33 stories of it, is the River Watch at City Centre tower. This 250 million dollar residential condominium tower will be built across from the Jacksonville Landing.

The other big news revealed in the news conference is the speed at which Khun expects to get started. Construction of the residential tower will begin by December 2006 and opening in summer of 2008.

There are mixed reviews on the look of the tower, but we can't help to embrace this new-comer into the family. We are thrilled to have him join our Downtown Skyline and inject over 300 new residents into the Downtown Core. We expect this to be a major factor in jump-starting the languishing Landing.
